About this tool
visapicresizer.com helps you size a visa or passport photo to the rules an authority states, without sending your photo anywhere. It is run by Sitaram in India, and it is independent of every government, embassy and immigration authority.
Why it exists
A photo is a small part of an application, but the wrong size can hold one up. An identity photo is also personal, so it should not have to pass through someone else's server just to be resized.
How the rules are checked
- Each rule is read from an official page, which is linked beside it.
- Where a source does not state something, the page says so and does not guess.
- Where official sources conflict or cannot be confirmed, the rule stays off the site.
- Each document shows the date its rules were last checked.
That is why the site covers 16 destinations for now, and grows only as more rules are confirmed.
What the tool will not do
- It will not smooth your skin, change your features or add filters.
- It will not offer changes an authority is known to forbid.
- It cannot promise that your photo will be accepted. The authority decides.
